Wrap your hands around a cup of apple and cinnamon tea. It’s a taste of Sweden that will warm you from the inside out – like a hug in a mug on a chilly day.
Serves: 4 | Preparation time: 5 min
Ingredients:
4 tea bags FLÖJT green tea
4 dl water
4 dl apple juice
1 tbsp honey
5 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp cloves
1-2 apples
Lingonberries, optional
Step by step
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, then turn off the heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 3 minutes. Add apple juice, honey, cloves, and one cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes with the lid on. Meanwhile, cut the apples into thin slices. Place them in the cups with a cinnamon stick and a few lingonberries. Pour the warm apple & cinnamon tea into each cup and enjoy the cosy vibes!Tip!You can swap apple juice for apple cider if you prefer.
